a little dinner music

Hannah gave an impromptu dinner concert the other night. She loves to sing. Unfortunately, you also get to hear Ben's simultaneous concert in the background.

Princess Party

For Valentines weekend we had a Princess sleepover party at Grandma's house. All 5 Princess's came. Lora, Valerie, Nicole, Addyson, & Hannah. What an beautiful group of cousins. The party began on friday night with an elaborate "Warm drink" party. Queen Grandma was hostess and the princess's were served by Sumer, Becky, Melissa, & Lora. Hannah drank like 6 cups of hot chocolate. After the warm drinks the girls got ready to watch Addy's favorite Princess movie. Every couple of minutes some one came upstairs with a comment of how Hannah was out of bed, or in front of the TV, or making too much noise. She was pretty worked up especially after all that sugar. After many trips with mommy back up stairs and a few tantrums, she finally went to sleep around midnight, but not before poor Nicole threw up all over herself, her bed, Hannah's bed, the floor, and the kitchen.
The next morning was Valentine's day and Addy's birthday. Grandpa and Lora made some wonderful heart shaped blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, and somewhat heart shaped sausage. After breakfast the girls all got into their Princess dresses. Lora is wearing a gown my mom wore in college and Valerie is wearing a dress I wore in Junior High. Then it was time for crafts. The girls decorated tote bags and picture frames. Everyone had a wonderful time! All Hail the Princess's.
