Doughnuts anyone?

What do you do with left over buttermilk? Make doughnuts of course!! I got out my grandmother's original 1950's Betty Crocker cookbook and Hannah and I had a fun & messy morning. She loved rolling out the dough and using the bisquit cutter. ( I meant to post this last month but never got to it.)

Breakfast of Champions

Hannah & Ben woke up at 6am this morning! I got Ben back to sleep but Hannah would only stay in bed until 7, so I gave her her fruitloops and juice and Disney channel and got back into bed with Ben. This is what I found when we got up. Apparently the fruitloops was not a sufficient breakfast. On top of the dozen or so Oreo insides eaten, she had spilled Ollie's food all over the carpet and was trying to clean up with her Hoover vac.

Spring has sprung

Hurray for spring! Normally Id say that Im a winter girl. I love winter and snow but I couldnt help but feel excited and happy today when I walked out my door and found these flowers blooming right under my kitchen window. They are beautiful and cheerful and best of all I didn't have to do anything! Hurray for spring!
